Can tables be reserved?
No, unfortunately not, we operate on a first come first served basis. This avoids
disappointment for others queuing to come in especially if someone does then not show up! Table service is now available, Mon-Fri, term – time only

Why can’t I come in with my own food or drink?
We have our own Servery on site where we provide a good range of hot/cold food and a good variety of drinks etc. It is just the same as if you were to go into a restaurant/pub and bring in your own food/drink, you cannot use the facilities at our venue and bring in your own food or drink. You are still entitled to sit at a table or in our soft seating area.  However, only food and drink that you purchase from us can be consumed at our venue.

Why do you not reduce the price if I arrive with only an hour left before it closes?
Our sessions are for 2hrs & we have to treat your visit as usual especially if we are busy to be fare to all. If we’re not busy, normally we allow people to stay longer without a further charge.

MEMBERSHIP QUESTIONS

Do I have to be a member and why do I have to be a member?
Yes you do. It enables us to improve safety as we will know who is in Kidz Biz at any time. It makes head count much easier should we ever need to evacuate the building and that you will be kept up to date and given priority to our childrens activity workshops, latest events and other free offers.

Will my details be given to anyone else?
Under data protection law your details will not be passed to any one outside of Kidz Biz and your details can be removed from our database at any time, for example if you move away.

How do I become a member?
Just fill out a very short registration form when you come in.

PARTY QUESTIONS

Why can’t I bring a birthday cake and have a private party without booking?
Birthday parties are the main source of income for our business and are what we do best. Therefore, birthday parties must be booked and paid for as we have full facilities for this.

Why do the prices for birthday parties differ between week days/week ends and school holidays?
As mentioned earlier weekends and school holidays are our busiest times. Again in order to maintain the building and service standards our operating costs increase.

Why can I not bring in any food for adults on birthday parties?
As food and drink provides us with income we cater for adults as well as children and just as you wouldn’t bring your own food and drink into a restaurant/pub you cannot do it here.

Why do I have to pay the full balance of the cost of our birthday party 7 DAYS before the birthday?
All birthday parties booked affect our staffing levels and food costs for the week approaching your party, therefore, as you can appreciate we need to have the money in to avoid last minute cancellation causing us a financial loss.
